Social Media Marketing Intern

  • Monitored and engaged company Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest accounts through the creation of new and relevant content to promote the DTA brand, blog posts, services and to drive traffic to the company website

 

  • Generated 80 new Twitter followers and 17 additional Facebook page likes resulting in Facebook moving from second to most popular social network, and Twitter from least to third most popular

 

  • Analyzed the company’s social media engagement using bitly.com, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and Facebook Insights

 

  • Designed an online gallery, contributed to the company’s blog using WordPress and implemented an Instagram account

 

  • Assisted with day of wedding coordination, including but not limited to: ceremony and reception set-up, décor, vendor communication and confirmation of food and beverage.

Prior to beginning my internship with Down The Aisle, the company had celebrated its sixth year anniversary, and a new assistant wedding planner joined their team.  I wrote a press release for the company to highlight its past success and plans for the future.
